We are seeking a Office, Clinic Coordinator - Dental Admin Services that will assist the Clinic Manager with the operations and activities of the Clinic. Assists Clinic Manager with staff to ensure that patient care services are provided in a timely, clinically sound manner which is sensitive to the patient's physical, psychological, and spiritual needs. Assists Clinic Manager with staff to ensure that business office functions are performed in a timely and accurate manner.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Assist Clinic Manager with all aspects of daily clinic and/or ancillary operations
Assign clinical and/or ancillary and/or business office and/or support duties to staff in accordance with skills and abilities
Develop and implements the daily work schedule
Provide back up staffing, as needed
Assist Clinic Manager with the recruiting, hiring, training and supervising of staff
Perform performance evaluations or input to Clinic Manager for performance evaluations
Assist Clinic Manager with counseling employees on positive and negative performance
Implement disciplinary action, as needed
Monitor front office, ancillary departments, business office, and back office operations including; registrations, demographic and insurance information collection, obtaining consents and releases, scheduling, patient flow, medical records, billing, collections, nursing, and patient care
Oversee and/or assists with daily and monthly accounting and banking functions and procedures as needed
Provide clinic accounting department with required information in a timely manner
Identify and solve patient concerns, questions, and suggestions
Required qualifications for this position includes:
Coursework/Training: College level healthcare administration/business coursework
Two (2) years of experience in managing a medical office
Knowledge of health care environment including; medical office policies and procedures, ancillary department policies and procedures and human resource management practices
Strong written communication, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
Able to identify and solve problems, make decision, and implement change
Able to establish priorities, organize, and coordinate work activities
Knowledge of medical terminology, registration functions, reimbursement contracts or policies, and departmental polices
