Providence Health & Services Senior Clinical Business Analyst in Portland, Oregon
Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Senior Clinical Business Analyst to our location in Portland, OR.
We are seeking a Senior Clinical Business Analyst to provide advanced clinical business analytics support for the ambulatory quality team in the Clinical Services department within Physician Enterprise. This role will participate in the development of quality measures, analyze and validate quality measures, develop dashboard and visualizations to highlight opportunities, best practices, and identify gaps in care. This position will collaborate, partner, and serve as the quality metric subject matter expert with population health, government programs, and value based contracting. This position will be closely involved in design validation, clinical input gathering and identifying improvement in the EHR. A key component of this role is supporting the regions by providing analysis and actionable information.
In this position you will:
Query, review and analyze data from multiple internal/external sources to create dashboards, drill down reports/visualizations on key performance quality indicators.
Validate EHR data before migration to various data repositories, e.g. Clarity, Caboodle, and other databases.
Provide subject matter expertise on clinical quality metric development and serves as a liaison with Healthcare Intelligence, Population Health Informatics, Government Programs, Care Management, Epic Teams, Value Based Contracting groups, and other groups.
Complete business analysis planning and monitoring for key stakeholder groups and provide effective communication to those groups.
Complete problem definition and analysis to assist in business case development.
Facilitate regional discussions on quality improvement activities.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s degree in business, science, or other healthcare related areas.
At least 7 years of progressive responsibility in managing projects and doing business analytics.
3 years’ experience in a clinical or healthcare setting
Preferredd qualifications for this position include: Master’s degree.
Specialized training in facilitation of diverse groups.
Project management, LEAN,CAP and other change management skills.
