Providence is calling a Registered Nurse Coordinator (1.0 FTE, Days) to Providence Office Park in Portland, OR.

The RN Coordinator supports in quality Improvement and program Development and leads multidisciplinary, cross-functional teams in the development and implementation of initiatives to achieve quality goals and objectives while measuring outcomes and results and reporting on progress vs. stated goals and objectives.
We are seeking an RN Coordinator who’s excited to work autonomously along with program medical directors and clinical staff to build on quality management and improvement infrastructure in service line where none of this currently exists. As the RN coordinator, you have a broad understanding of the organizations, systems and workflows that are relevant to your area of focus. Your job is to innovate, evolve, improve, and streamline our Digestive programs. While a Master’s degree is preferred, we welcome experienced BSN’s who are looking to grow in their leadership career and are passionate about Digestive Health and Acute Care.
In this position, you will:
Support the Providence Digestive Health Institute and the Regional Acute Medicine Program with quality improvement and program development strategies.
Be responsible for multiple aspects of clinical process improvement including data retrieval, data analysis, clinical team collaboration, project management and reporting outcomes.
Support a variety of projects and respond to colleagues, leadership and medical director requests in an effective and timely manner.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing with Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Current Registered Nurse with Oregon license in good standing
Current, valid drivers license to visit Providence ministries and surgical departments as needed
5 years clinical experience
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Experience in gastroenterology, endoscopy, and/or hospital medicine
Experience with data analysis and reporting
Experience with multidisciplinary teams and involved with clinical improvements using patient outcomes
Training or experience with project management tools & methods
Training or experience with quality improvement and/or change management methodologies
