Providence Health & Services Regional HIM Compliance Auditor in Portland, Oregon
Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Regional HIM Compliance Auditor (Full-Time, Days) to our location in Portland or Washington.
We are seeking a Regional HIM Compliance Auditor who will be responsible for supporting various quality improvement activities throughout the State. Activities include auditing and gathering information from multiple hospital departments along with researching regulatory information and escalating issues of concern to the manager. The position will also be responsible for assisting in the development of communication and educational tools regarding JCAHO, HIPAA, State and Federal requirements and quality improvement activities within HIM.
Please note: This will be a telecommute position (Work from Home).
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Reports to the Manager Regional HIM Compliance and Site Support.
Interacts with physicians, quality management, compliance and integrity coordinator, managers of nursing, pharmacy, DI and lab throughout Oregon.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High School graduate.
College study in related field.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- 5 years experience in a healthcare environment, HIM.
