Providence Health & Services Regional Director - Cardiovascular Clinical Operations in Portland, Oregon
Providence is calling a Regional Director Cardiovascular Clinical Operations Regional, Oregon. This position will be based at our St. Vincent location in Portland, Oregon.
In this position, you will:
Provide leadership, strategic development, planning and operational management direction for invasive and noninvasive heart and vascular services within the Oregon region to insure the safe, efficient and effective delivery of inpatient and outpatient services.
Plan, coordinate and supervise the technical and administrative functions in accordance with system policies and goals.
Actively collaborate with Providence Heart Institute administrative and medical leadership, hospital administrators, physician leaders and key Providence St. Joseph Health leadership to develop goals and objectives to insure quality patient outcomes and a cost effective continuum of care.
Plan and develop appropriate strategic relationships for the delivery and expansion of regional heart and vascular services.
Facilitate collaborative working relationships with programs, departments and physicians within the institutions to assure appropriate quality and coordination of care for inpatient and outpatients.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, Nursing or related field with demonstration of increasing responsibility and experience in the supervision of clinical services and financial operation of invasive heart services and/or related programs
7-10 years of progressive leadership experience and heart and vascular services
Skills in financial and program management, marketing, planning and interpersonal communication
Strong ability to lead teams and maintain positive professional relationships
Working knowledge of cardiovascular specialty programs (i.e., cath lab, electrophysiology services, endovascular procedures, etc)
Valid Oregon driver's license
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Master’s degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, Nursing or related field
