Providence Health & Services Polysomnographic Technologist in Portland, Oregon

Description:

Providence is calling an on-call Polysomnographic Technologist to the Sleep Lab at Providence Portland Medical Center in Portland, OR.

0.0 FTE- Day Shift

In this position, you will:

  • Perform routine and complex polysomnographic procedures including MSLT, MWT, correlate and compile diagnostic data and applies therapeutic modalities as necessary to patient’s condition.

  • Have duties that may consist of scoring, scheduling, upkeep of electronic and paper files, database activities, departmental quality improvement and EMU equipment troubleshooting.

  • Perform routine EEGs and take call for routine EEGs on a rotational basis .

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Licensure with the Oregon Respiratory Therapist and Polysomnographic Technologist Licensing Board as a Polysomnographic Technologist

  • RPSGT credential

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

  • Strong analytical and detail-oriented skills, interpersonal communication skills and the ability to prioritize work and manage time effectively
