We are seeking a Manager Anticoagulation Services - Anticoagulation Clinic that will be responsible for development, oversight and management of Anticoagulation Services in the Portland and Yamhill service areas, and within PMG. Provides leadership within PMG and across the Oregon region to achieve high quality, safe, and cost-effective services for comprehensive anticoagulation management of select focused conditions. Responsible for the continual improvement of ACC clinic operational efficiency. Serves as a liaison throughout Providence Health & Services to improve integration and management of anticoagulation across the continuum.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

  • In collaboration with PMG Pharmacy Director, establishes and meets ACC Service goals, objectives, action plans and budgets

  • Develop and implement new clinics and services. Provides operational and clinical expertise for new physical locations and clinical services, in collaboration with PMG Pharmacy Director, Regional Pharmacy leaders, Project Managers

  • Provide direction to clinic supervisors for coordination and oversight of professional and technician staff to optimize cost-effective anticoagulation services in accordance with the organizational goals

  • Routinely evaluate anticoagulation clinical performance and business operations to ensure expenses are balanced by revenue

  • Collaboratively develop and implement improvements to maximize available technology, personnel, resources, outcomes and service

  • Develop and implement staffing plan to anticipate and meet fluctuations in workload demands across ACC Services

  • Establish and maintain Service standards, policies and procedures. Assures that patient care services provide equivalent standards of care regardless of the location of care. Serves as a resource to answer questions regarding correct procedures

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position includes:

  • Graduate from an accredited College of Pharmacy

  • PharmD

  • Master's Degree in Pharmacy; with residency -OR- equivalent education/experience

  • Current valid pharmacy license by the Oregon State Board of Pharmacy

  • Board certification in Pharmacotherapy, Ambulatory Care, and/or Anticoagulation Provider within two (2) years of hire

  • Five (5) years of experience and progressive responsibility in pharmacy management including Supervisory/Coordinator experience, demonstration of supervisory and administrative ability shown during that period

  • Three (3) years of experience in ambulatory pharmacy practice which included significant responsibility for direct management of anticoagulation and / or other pharmacotherapy patients

  • Practice experience base with emphasis in the field of anticoagulation

  • Experience in the use of information technology to improve business processes

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Demonstrated experience and success in operational process improvement.
