We are seeking a Lead Patient Relations Representative - Heart Clinic Gateway that will oversee the day-to-day activities of the PRR while functioning in that role. The PRR is the first point of contact to patients or visitors in person or by phone.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Serve as a peer mentor and provides excellent leadership to the team
Collaborate and communicate with clinic leadership regarding all aspects of daily clinic operations
Provide excellent customer service and serves as first point of contact to patients or visitors in person or by phone
Navigate multiple and complex data systems to research and/or record pertinent information in compliance with policies
Coordinate daily staff schedules to ensure appropriate staffing levels are met; redistributes duties as needed to ensure timely completion
Assist in facilitating communication between patients, clinic staff, providers, management and other departments or clinics
Assist in monitoring the compliance of staff to workflows, quality improvement programs, service expectations, and regulatory requirements
Required qualifications for this position includes:
High School Diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
One (1) year of Recent experience as Patient Relations Representative (PRR) or equivalent
Experience with electronic medical records and/or computerized billing systems
Computer skills including Microsoft Windows and Office Applications
Preferred qualifications for this position includes:
Current certification from the AHA (American Heart Association) for BLS (Basic Life Support) for the Healthcare Provider
Experience leading others
