Providence is calling a Home Based Acute Care RN (1.0 FTE, Days) to work in Hospital at PSCS Divisional Services in the Portland, OR area.

Hospital at home is responding to the needs of our community offering an innovative care delivery model combining home health and acute care nursing. The hospital at home field team nurse will be giving acute care to patients in their homes as a way of alleviating the overcrowding in the hospital systems. Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Education sufficient for licensure

  • 1 year Medical/surgical experience in an acute care setting

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the appropriate state of employment or service required.

  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support for Health Care Provider) or ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) required within 30 days of hire.

  • Valid Driver's license required.

  • In compliance with the Providence Health & Services, criminal background check is required for this position, based on assigned duties

  • Have access to daily use of an insured, reliable vehicle

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing

  • IV/Infusion skills

  • Recent Home Health experience

  • Point of Care experience
