Providence Health & Services Digital Product Manager in Portland, Oregon

Description:

Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Digital Product Manager to our location in Portland, OR.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Owns one or more digital products for the health plan, inclusive of budget, scope, resources and time lines.

  • Manages the day-to-day progress of digital product development, planning and execution.

  • Establishes and monitors success measures and expectations for each digital product.

  • Define ROI of activities; ensure activities support company initiatives, goals and pre-established metrics.

  • Identify consumer trends and information to drive market research in advance of competitors and marketplace shifts.

  • Provides direction and collaboration among multiple functional areas (, information services, marketing, sales, operations, underwriting, regulatory, public relations, communications), to execute specific product plans.

  • Performs as a health plan leader through active leadership in marketing, product and information services decision making efforts.

  • Maintains expert knowledge of digital trends, consumer behavior and expectations.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years progressive business experience leading digital product development and deployment

  • Understanding of agile development methodologies.

  • Proven track record of creating, launching and growing digital products.

  • Deep understanding of organic SEO.

  • Experience in product development, strategy and concepts creation and driving a product idea through feasibility and implementation phases.

  • Demonstrated success defining and launching meaningful and lasting products to achieve ROI.

  • Ability to demonstrate successful strategic thinking, planning and project management skills.

  • Outstanding analytical ability and problem solving skills.

  • Must possess a keen view of the external environment including: general trends impacting the business and competitive assessments

  • Understanding of both business-to-business and business-to-consumer selling situations.

  • Excellent communication skills: written, verbal and presentation.

  • Must possess the distinct ability to analyze and present data and recommendations with credibility, achieving the best decision for the short and long term viability of the plan.

  • Organized and methodical with the ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time, and work well under pressure.
