We are seeking a CVL Material Management Coordinator - Arrhythmia Services that will responsible for the oversight of all functions related to Cardio Vascular Lab materials acquisition, certain capital equipment, new product introduction, inventory control, item file maintenance and is the primary interface with healthcare representatives. This position is responsible for the coordination of Cardio Vascular Lab materials for the Portland Service Area with work in the Oregon region as necessary.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Responsible for coordinating requests for special one-time, and recurring non-inventory surgery products
Recommend purchase vs. consignment and monitors inventory levels
Coordinate loaning and borrowing of surgical products and equipment from other facilities
Coordinate manufacturer surgical product recalls
NEW PRODUCT INTRODUCTION:
Responsible for overseeing all aspects of new product introduction including support to clinical leadership, product research, documentation and communication
Work collaboratively with clinical staff, Cardiovascular lab buyer and Cardiovascular manager to ensure documentation is complete and prepared for review
Ensure all aspects of new product/equipment process are completed prior to introduction
Research capital equipment and assists surgery leadership in identifying cost effective alternatives
Work with leadership team to prioritize capital equipment needs
Order, track, receive and coordinates implementation of all capital equipment
Primary point of contact for healthcare representatives
Responsible for maintaining Cardiovascular vendor database for Portland Service area
Ensure new representatives complete requirements prior to access to the patient care areas
Analyze supply costs and provides monthly variance reports
Maintain item file in GE Centricity and Wavemark. Assigns numbers for all new items
Create report to track special procedures (e.g., robotics), and purchased outside services (e.g., Wave Form)
Provide analysis of contract vendor utilization
Required qualifications for this position includes:
Experience in hospital and/or surgical materials management
Experience working with databases and spreadsheets (Access /Excel)
Experience with budgets and inventory control systems
Preferred qualifications for this position includes:
Associate's Degree: Related field - OR- equivalent education experience
Bachelor's Degree: Related field - OR- Business Education
Experience with Lawson Procurement
