We are seeking a Cleaning Attendant - Irvington Assisted Living Facility that will perform general housekeeping duties in the assigned areas of participant housing and the adult day center.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Assure a safe, clean environment in participant apartments, housing common areas, day center, clinic, and offices by vacuuming or shampooing carpets; dusts and/or mopping linoleum; and disinfecting areas as assigned
Clean vacated housing units in preparation for new residents
Wash and cleans bathrooms, ledges, baseboards, corners, walls, sinks, glass surfaces, cupboards, shelves, refrigerators, other appliances, etc.
Dust furniture, lights, window sills, vents, and moving furniture to facilitate cleaning
Wipe up or sweeps and mops accidental spills and breakages
Gather trash and disposes in properly designated manner
Reline trash containers
Remove soiled linens and deposits in designated location and performs laundry duties as assigned
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Six (6) months of Housekeeping experience
