We are seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist - Cardiovascular laboratory who will assist physicians in the performance of invasive diagnostic cardiovascular testing and treatment.
In this position, you will:
Receive patient in examination/procedure room, works with cardiovascular nurse to prepare patient for procedure
Assist physician in scrub position for all cardiovascular procedures.
Monitor and record physiologic pressures
Compile and calculate pressure data
Stock supplies, maintains instruments and equipment
Notify supervisor in the event of malfunctioning equipment
Required qualifications for this position includes:
Associate's Degree: Graduate of accredited program -OR- equivalent education/experience
RCIS -OR- CV Specialty, -OR- obtained within 18 months of hire
Effective for those staff hired after 1/1/09
Current American Heart Association (AHA) - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within one (1) year of hire
