Providence Business Sales Marketing Analyst in Portland, Oregon
Providence St. Joseph Health is calling Business Sales Marketing Analyst to our location in Portland, OR.
We are seeking a Business Sales Marketing Analyst who will be perform a variety of analysis functions and provides system support and project management related activities for the Sales Division. The Business Analyst is the key business expert for the CRM Sales Tracking Software. CRM is the basis for all Sales reporting and the database upon which automated customer contracts are generated. This position works with internal customers, vendors, and other Information Services staff in performing their duties. On Demand support is usually a requirement for the Business Analyst. These responsibilities span the Providence Health Plan facilities throughout Oregon and Southwest Washington. The Business Analyst is responsible for the ongoing development, maintenance and data integrity of the Sales Database (CRM). This includes internal training, documentation, and operational process improvement. This position is also responsible for the development and completion of reports designed to provide timely, relevant information to the Sales, Communications, Planning and Analytic departments.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Responsible for the development and upkeep of SQL, Access queries and reports to meet the data needs for Sales, Marketing/Planning Departments.
Responsible for developing and delivery of training for stakeholder reporting.
Responsible for the sales database data integrity via developing methods for system auditing.
Responsible for assisting in the development of processes and documentation for educating the training staff on the appropriate procedures when using CRM.
Function as in-house sales database expert to identify, analyze and collaborate with the IS Department and vendors to resolve system related problems.
Development and preparation of periodic reports. These include, but are not limited to:
Regional Sales Activity Report (monthly/quarterly).
Medicare Sales Activity Report (monthly/quarterly).
Account Executive Broker/Prospect Call Report.
Agent Activity Report.
Direct Mail Reports.
Ad-hoc Reports requests to support business needs.
Assist in the completion of the annual sales forecast to include membership, growth, new sales and other sales activities.
Help identify, improve and monitor sales database workflow processes in conjunction with Senior Sales Administration Manager, Sales & Service Supervisor, Documentation & Training Coordinator and Project Coordinator.
Auditing all data after the installation of the software upgrades.
Serving as the expert for the management of the database and report generation activities.
Assist in identifying training needs for all sales, service and other interested staff on the use of CRM. Ongoing auditing and maintenance of data.
Develop and execute system test plans to validate that system fixes are complete and accurate and/or that new product system enhancements or updates function as designed. Updates are documented accordingly.
Design and develop reports and extracts for Sales Division.
Document system features, fixes, and enhancements as needed to support all phases of implementation, utilization and system support.
Define requirements for automation of departmental functionality by researching and implementing CRM integration with other software applications (WORD, Outlook, Excel, Access) to maximize work efficiencies.
Demonstrate increased responsibility in support of the complexity of the sales functions and customer base supported.
Demonstrate awareness of evolving industry technologies and their applicability to health system and information system strategies and attend applicable CRM user group meetings.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's degree and 1 year industry related experience, or Associate degree and 3 years industry related experience, or 5 years of industry related experience.
Coursework/Programming training in at least one applicable programming environment, preferably SQL.
Experience in analyzing and resolving system related problems.
Experience with server architecture.
Experience in managing multiple projects.
Experience in providing leadership, guidance and assistance.
