Providence Health & Services Administrative Scheduling Coordinator - Heart Clinic in Portland, Oregon
Providence is calling a Administrative Scheduling Coordinator (1.0 FTE, Days) to Providence Heart Clinic located at Mother Joseph Plaza Portland in Portland, OR.
This position will require working at both our Westside and Eastside Heart Clinics. Tentatively 3 days a week on the Westside and 2 days a week on the Eastside.
We are seeking a Administrative Scheduling Coordinator who will work closely with the physicians and management. Create and manage physician call schedules and calendars. Perform general administrative duties for management and providers.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Provide first tier support of clinical application software and interfaces.
Consistently provide a high level of customer support and service.
Managing complex schedule for providers and advance practice providers (APP) ensuring appropriate coverage at all locations according to clinic protocols.
Understanding template implication and decisions made by providing accurate and timely feedback.
Provide administrative assistant support to the providers and advance practice providers, including calendar management, coordinating interviews and various meetings, etc.
Maintain and coordinate Medical Directors' and other administrative calendars and schedules.
Maintain records on physician continuing medical education days (CME), paid time off (PTO), Curriculum Vitae's (CV's), etc.
Timekeeper for cardiovascular providers and advance practice providers, ensuring accurate recording of hours, PTO, CME, etc.
Support Management team with projects as assigned.
Interact positively and professionally with providers.
Assist Medical Director with assigned projects.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Highschool Diploma or equivalent
4 years experience in healthcare/ambulatory environment
Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
University or Business school studies
Project support experience
