Providence Senior Software Developer Healthcare in Oregon

This position is remote and can sit the footprint of Providence in the states of AK, WA, OR, CA, TX or MT.

The Senior Software Developer will be a member of an Agile software development team (Scrum or Kanban) in the PHP Information Services (IS) Department. As senior software developer they will be expected to work well within their agile team, foster collaboration, mentor teammates and other members of the IS Department, and provide opinion and expertise on technical issues all while embracing Agile Principles and Values.

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

Experience with the following technologies preferred: Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services, C#, RESTful APIs, .Net Core, Cloud Services (Azure and AWS preferred), Cloud data storage, Serverless Functions, RDMS/NoSQL DBs, Serverless Architectures, Crystal Reports and SSRS, MuleSoft, TFS/Azure DevOps, PowerShell. SharePoint

Preferred healthcare experience includes working with healthcare data, working with Trizetto Facets and an understanding of its database schema, experience working with HIPAA EDI formats, and experience with Facets HIPAA Gateway configuration and building custom processes with it.

Required qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree Plus 6 years of demonstrated software development experience in an enterprise environment. OR equivalent educ/experience

  • Bachelor's Degree Plus 4 years of demonstrated software development experience in an enterprise environment -OR- Or equivalent educ/experience

  • 6 year degree plus 2 years of demonstrated software development experience in an enterprise environment.

  • 8 years Demonstrated software development experience in an enterprise environment

Salary Range depending on experience and internal equity: Min: $45.05, Max: $73.97
