Senior Scrum Master - Enterprise Information Services - *100% Remote within the Providence footprint of locations (WA, AK, CA, OR, MT, NM, NV, and TX).

Our pillar, Service Integration, is responsible for delivering, maintaining, and optimizing our Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR) Infrastructure as well as Virtual Application Delivery for the enterprise. We are looking for a senior scrum master/ program manager to coach our Citrix engineering teams towards a mature Scrum framework and lead our strategic virtual application delivery projects including: migrating Citrix CVAD to CVADs, standardizing backup and restore procedures, and modernizing our infrastructure.

Who you are: This is NOT your typical, traditional healthcare project/program management position. This will be a hands-on position where you work in partnership with our high-performing teams in an agile environment. The ability to understand the big-picture view and stay laser-focused on outcomes whilst also paying attention to the details are vital. A curious, collaborative attitude is a must. We want you to understand what our team and our stakeholders are trying to achieve. You will serve as the scrum master for your teams, facilitate scrum ceremonies, manage technical projects, remove blockers for teams, and look to help teams continuously mature their agility. You will need technical understanding in managing complex infrastructure projects to help support projects involving remediating technical debt, completing major upgrades, and/or ad-hoc support requests. You will be responsible for: communicating project goals, identifying external dependencies, removing blockers, leveraging Agile best practices, and working with Product Owners to ensure the product backlog is well defined, prioritized, and understood by our teams.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent educ/experience

  • 5 years Related experience; 5-8 years preferred.

  • Strong program and project experience.

Preferred qualifications:

  • CSM, PSM, CSPO, PMI-ACP, or equivalent Agile certifications highly preferred

  • Hands on experience supporting engineering teams as a Scrum Master highly preferred (having a cert isn't enough)

  • Experience using work management software such as: Microsoft Azure DevOps, JIRA, or equivalent

  • Experience eliciting high-level requirements from both business and technical stakeholders and then supporting engineering teams as they translate those into a detailed, prioritized, actionable backlog

  • Experience developing roadmaps and detailed plans for infrastructure projects supporting large-scale applications (such as virtualization, remote connectivity, application delivery, device management, etc.) with the ability to manage though complexities

  • Familiarity with transitioning on-prem data centers to the cloud
