Providence Health & Services Communications Specialist in Oregon
Providence is calling a Communications Specialist to one of our locations in Renton, WA, or Portland, OR.
We are seeking a Communication Specialist who will support organization-wide programs and initiatives. The communication specialist will play a key role in supporting organization and region-based communication efforts. This role will work closely with leaders and fellow caregivers on the communication team to support communication programs and messaging across the continuum of the multi-state Providence organization.
Coordinating and supporting communication projects across a diverse, matrixed Communication team.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Support communication strategy, planning and execution for the following:
Large-scale organizational initiatives.
Region-based communication initiatives and teams.
Ongoing operational teams and projects.
Organizational and community events.
Work closely with Communication leaders and teams, as well as other organizational leaders and teams across the Providence organization in support of communication initiatives.
Bachelor's Degree in Communication or related field or equivalent education/experience.
2 years Demonstrated experience in supporting broad-based and successful communication teams and programs.
Demonstrated writing and editing excellence.
Knowledge of integrated health care practices and industry issues and trends.
Ability to work collaboratively across a diverse, matrixed communication team to ensure messaging and programs are delivered quickly, consistently and powerfully across multiple channels and locations.
Ability to help create and deliver proactive, powerful messaging in support of a brand position.
Agility and flexibility in providing support for multiple projects, and just-in-time issues and work assignment.
- Experience working in highly matrixed and geographically dispersed organizations and teams.
