We are seeking a Audio Visual Specialist - Reg Environmental Svcs Div that will prepare audio visual equipment for meetings and special events. Supports and enhances presentations. Operation of control room in Auditorium during events.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Set up AV equipment in conference rooms per requests
Provide support and assistance to client/presenter, when requested, during events to assure successful high quality presentation
Set up computers and data projector
Scheduling and confirmation of space using the dedicated conference scheduling software
Provide support to the Audio Visual Coordinator in projects as requested
Research appropriate technical equipment, make recommendations for its purchase, and coordinate preventive maintenance of all equipment owned by department. Coordinate repair of equipment. Ensures equipment is working properly
Support and teach users 'How To' for high quality results and achieve a high level of satisfaction from the client
Maintain and monitor inventory levels of necessary supplies and equipment. Coordinate and assist with ordering supplies and equipment
Collaborate closely with the Catering department and Conference Room Scheduling to ensure all the requests are handled accurately and efficiently
Maintain cleanliness of the room, removing garbage, cleaning chairs and the upkeep of public area
Required qualifications for this position include:
- Associate's Degree AV Production or 2 years experience in audio visual set-up, operations and production
