Providence is calling a Housekeeper (0.94 FTE, Evening Full-Time) to Providence Benedictine Nursing Center in Mount Angel, OR.

We are seeking a Housekeeper who will clean and sanitize rooms and furnishings in assigned work areas. Follow established policies and procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the building.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Perform housekeeping duties necessary to maintain cleanliness standards
Clean and sanitize areas by dust mopping, vacuuming, scrubbing, waxing, buffing, polishing, and washing
Empty trash cans, clean windows, change drapes, wash walls, furniture, and equipment, and change light bulbs
Cross-train to janitorial procedures
Always introduce self to patients, families and visitors; knock before entering rooms
Ability to work on his/her own with minimal supervision
Perform the physical activities required of the position
May be exposed to blood borne pathogens
May be exposed to chemical and respiratory hazards
Preferred qualifications for this position includes:
- One (1) year housekeeping experience
