Providence Health & Services Senior Operations Manager - Medford in Medford, Oregon


Providence is calling a Senior Manager - Operations (1.0 FTE, Days) to Providence General Administration in Medford, OR.

In this position, you will:

  • Provide on-going leadership and management to a group of clinics that are aligned within a specific program or programs to ensure geographically dispersed specialty clinics and ancillary services are aligned within Providence Medical Group (PMG).

  • Be responsible for the development and implementation of management and patient care systems to assure the cost-effective and quality operations.

  • Work closely with program, hospital and PMG leadership to ensure that the integrity of program services across each respective Region remains sensitive to patients physical, psychological, and spiritual needs.

  • Advise senior leaders on strategic, administrative and operational matters.

  • Lead or participate in PMG-wide special projects, committees or task forces as requested.


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree, preferably in business or related health care, or a combination of education and applicable work experience

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

  • Driving record consistent with GOP Safe Driving Policy 330 Incident Point Matrix required at time of hire

  • 5 years of leadership experience in medical group management, healthcare, or finance at a senior level. Must include experience in a complex healthcare delivery environment including:

  • clinic operations in either family practice or specialty clinics

  • financial management

  • quality management

  • risk management in a large medical group

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) or Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree

  • Experience in an integrated delivery system as well as new practice and facilities development
