Patient Care Tech - Nursing Float Pool at Providence Medford Medical Center
Work Schedule: 3, 12 hour shifts, 7am-7:30pm with rotating weekends

Position Description: We are seeking a Patient Care Tech - Nursing Float Pool that will be under direct supervision this position is accountable to the bedside RN and charge nurse to facilitate a safe and secure environment for the patient, family and providers in the department in completion of the duties assigned to them for the shift and maintaining clear communication between the needs of the patient through the RN and Charge Nurse. These activities focus on maintaining a safe, hazard free, clean environment which facilitates patient focused care.
Coursework/Training: Medical Terminology Course -OR- Successful completion of hospital Medical terminology test within ninety (90) days of hire
Basic Life Support (BLS) (American Heart Association) certified
Successful completion within ninety (90) days of hire
Six (6) months of Health care experience
Effective interpersonal skills
Demonstrated customer service skills
