Implant Coordinator - Supply Chain - Providence Medford Medical Center

Work schedule: 5, 8 hour shifts, primarily day shift hours with periodic weekends depending on operational need

Position Description:

The Coordinator-Implant handles all aspects of acquisition, delivery, return and reconciliation of surgical implants, supplies and related instruments used within the operating room. Works cooperatively with all stakeholders including suppliers, surgical services leadership, materials management, sterile processing, OR manager and surgical services business office staff to assure timely services and accurate billing. Maintains appropriate inventory for all implants, both purchased and consigned to support case volume. Oversees proper storage of implants and related instrumentation. Inventories and orders all supplies for the OR and other sites as assigned.


Required qualifications:

  • Two (2) years experience in surgical materials

Preferred qualifications:

  • Surgical technologist background or surgery experience

  • Knowledge of ortho, spine, and other
