We are seeking a Chaplain Night, Weekend Call - Spiritual Care that will provide spiritual and emotional support, guidance and crisis intervention to patients, their families, guests, volunteers, employees and physicians when called at night & on weekends. Supports the decision-makers with skills in Catholic theological ethics as applied to health care.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Carry the pager for their scheduled shift and responds to traumas, codes, deaths and other emergencies as called
Establish personal contact with patients and their families:
Assess emotional and spiritual needs and ministers to those needs
Give appropriate referrals to other disciplines
Display consistent commitment to customer service
Employ learned methods for achieving improved outcomes
Required qualifications for this position includes:
Training in Crisis Management
Preferred qualifications for this position includes:
Advanced studies in Theology, Philosophy, Divinity -OR- related field
Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) experience
