Providence Health & Services Cleaning Attendant in Hood River, Oregon

Description:

Providence is calling a Cleaning Attendant (0.6 FTE, Evenings) to Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital in Hood River, OR.

We are seeking for Cleaning Attendant that will be responsible for keeping an assigned area clean and aesthetically pleasing. They will also assist in the hospital disaster, fire prevention programs according to procedure and demonstrate the ability to work well with others.

In this position, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Perform cleaning tasks in assigned areas per procedures:

  • Clean and stocks patient rooms/sensitive areas.

  • Clean and stocks department and offices.

  • Clean and stocks general/public areas.

  • Keep housekeeping equipment clean, and in designated places.

  • Assist in the hospital’s safety, disaster and fire prevention programs.

  • Follow correct procedure when using cleaning supplies and equipment.

  • Report unsafe conditions, maintenance and repair needs in any area to supervisor promptly.

  • Participate in internal and external disaster programs per hospital policies.

Qualifications:

Preferred qualification for this position include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 1 year housekeeping experience
