LPN, Non-Contract - Beaverton Nursing Services at Providence Elderplace Oregon
Under the direction of a Registered Nurse the LPN provides quality nursing care in a clinic or community setting. All duties are to be performed within the Standards and Scope of practice for the LPN. Functions within the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) to formulate and evaluate the Participant's Plan of Care (POC). Completes focused assessments, by collecting both subjective and objective data. Assesses educational needs and develops trainings for Participants, families and caregivers. Identifies areas of need or potential change in a Participant's status. Performs clinical tests, treatments, therapies, medication administration, health teaching and counseling, as directed by the PCP and RN.
Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement
Current unencumbered LPN License by the Oregon State Board of Nursing
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA-BLS) for Health Care Provider certification required within 1 months of hire
- Experience in a clinic or clinic-like setting
