Providence Health & Services Associate Project Manager 2 in Beaverton, Oregon


Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Associate Project Manager 2 to our location in Renton, WA or Portland,OR or Beaverton,OR.

The Associate Project Manager 2 is responsible for initiating, planning, executing, controlling and closing small to medium sized technical projects – in order to deliver specified requirements, meet customer satisfaction, on time, within budget, and with quality results. The position also ensures appropriate customer involvement and supplier management throughout the project lifecycle.

Business Applications portfolio includes Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications for Finance, Supply Chain, Human Resources, and Workforce Management, general (non-clinical) applications supporting the business of our clinics and hospitals, collaboration applications, and others.

In this position you will:

  • Be responsible for managing a project to ensures that the project deliverables are complete. This may include plans, policies and procedures, new standards, issues lists, project status.

  • Provide Project Coordination and Tracking.

  • Coordinates Information Services, Providence Health and Services support departments, customer, and vendor activity.

  • Communicate with vendors regarding functional issues.

  • Create Service Level Agreements and Operating Level Agreements for implemented systems.

  • Coordinates, manages, and oversees local departmental equipment move projects for Information Services.


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • A Bachelor's degree OR an Associate's degree with two (2) years experience OR four (4) years experience in related activities

  • One year experience on project teams as a project participant.

  • Experience with project management software

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • One (1) year experience in a healthcare organization.

  • 3 years of project management experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to create and successfully execute strategic plans for a variety of issues; healthcare information services operations and support; methodologies related to application management such as system deployment, support, and lifecycle.

  • Organizational, interpersonal, and communications skills and the ability to manage shifting priorities are critical for success in this position.

  • Proven ability to interact at and communicate to all levels of an organization.
