Providence Health & Services Home Health CNA - South Salem in Salem, Oregon
Providence is calling a Home Health CNA to Providence Salem Home Services to visit patients in the South Salem territory.
This position is full-time and benefit eligible.
In this position, you will:
Provide supportive personal care services and homemaking assistance to patients of all ages according to the individualized physical needs of the patient in accordance with state and federal regulatory requirements, under the supervision of a registered nurse.
Perform all duties in a manner which supports team concept of caring and respect, which reflects the philosophy of Providence Home Services, Providence Mission, and Service Excellence Standards of Behavior.
Uphold the standard of confidentiality, attendance and punctuality.
Required qualification for this position include:
Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
Home Health Aide certification within 2 weeks of hire. Agency will provide training and exam.
This job requires that the Home Health Aide (HHA) training program meet the state and federal requirements and/or competency exam (also meets state and federal requirements) that include observation of skills. The competency exam, required by federal requirements is given/managed by the State Board of Nursing.
Home Health Aide will be subjected to passing, at least yearly, a skills observation checklist
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Provider Certification or ability to obtain in 60 days. Renewal every 2 years for BLS required.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Driving record consistent with Safe Driving Policy 330 Incident Point Matrix at time of hire In compliance with the Providence Health & Services-OR Human Resources Policy #302 Background Checks, a criminal background check is required for this position based on assigned duties.
