This is an administrative assistant position for someone who is resourceful, comfortable with ambiguity and change, has the ability to multitask, possesses confidence, and is a self-starter. You should be a critical, independent thinker who is always proactive, someone who manages tasks well ahead of time. If you join the Regional Security Services team, you’ll be part of an incredibly hard working and fun team responsible for delivering exceptional security to the hundreds of locations and countless number of caregivers, patients, and visitors across the Oregon and SW Washington region.
In this position, you will:
Perform advanced level administrative duties as well as various special projects supporting the director and multiple managers in Regional Security Services.
Support and manage the access control and photo ID badging program ensuring the physical security of critical locations across the region. In this role you will be responsible for adding and assigning access levels, printing and encoding cards, responding to access requests, and supporting other locations as needed.
Manage purchasing and logistics for assigned areas including completing and processing purchase requests, serve as liaison between vendors and internal stakeholders, making travel arrangements, and managing purchase card reconciliation for multiple managers.
Support the parking programs at assigned locations including data entry for vehicle registration, parking enforcement, carpool and parking assignments, Tri-Met passes, and DMV checks.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license with good driving record
2 years of administrative or secretarial support work experience
Advanced secretarial and word processing training or equivalent knowledge obtained through experience
Proficient using PC with Microsoft office applications including Word, Outlook, and Excel
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Business School or college level courses in business
Training and/or experience managing access control systesm
Training and/or experience using photo ID badging systems and printers
