Providence is calling a Supervisor - Case Management to Providence Health Plan in Beaverton, OR.
In this position, you will:
Be responsible for providing day to day oversight for the general operations of the Care Management and Medical Review teams within Healthcare Services (HCS)
Work in cooperation with the manager to provide leadership and guidance for the HCS staff.
Perform duties including all functions of Care Management daily operations. This includes providing case management or medical review, coordination and assistance to patients with complex health needs or the potential for poor health outcomes, and supervisory responsibilities.
Act as a mentor and role model.
Solve day-to-day issues and promote team building that reflects the Providence mission and core values.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing -or- graduation from an accredited equivalent clinical program. Applicable work experience may substitute for some education.
Clinical license in good standing in the state of Oregon
5 years of clinical experience
Experience with managed care services including population health initiatives, Affordable Care Act, Coordinated Care Organizations, Accountable Care Organizations, and Medicare/Medicaid regulations
Experience developing innovative partnerships and programs that challenge the norm to support an ever-changing healthcare environment
Cost stewardship experience using Lean (or similar) principles, which increases effectiveness and cuts waste
Demonstrated leadership that cultivates others to exceed and develop
Ability to develop effective interpersonal relationships at all levels of the organization
Solution-driven focus with experience using detailed quantitative and process expertise
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor Degree in Nursing or other Clinical degree
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) if applicable
Previous supervisory or lead experience
